About the event
In this class you will have the opportunity to:
- Engage in a collective breath - with breath work and a brief meditation on allowing and setting the intention for the evening
- Receive a beginner level lesson in watercolor basics while practicing the art of allowing
- Express your thoughts and feelings with the group
- Re-engage with the collective breath - with a closing gratitude & loving awareness meditation
- Release, let go and allow as we say goodbye.
Supplies you will need:
- Round paint brush
- Watercolor paint palette (with at least the primary colors) (+ optional white, black & brown colors)
- Water cup (w/water)
- Pencil
- Eraser
- Paper towel or small cloth
- Watercolor paper
- Artist sponge (optional)
- Tape (scotch, masking or painters tape)
Mini Watercolor Kits are available for sale on my Etsy shop. Aside from the water cup & tape, these kits will have all that you need for this event.

Suggestions to set up your space:
- A quiet space and time set aside for you spend about a hour and a half with us
- A table or flat space that is big enough to accommodate all of your painting tools
- A comfy chair, pillow or yoga ball to sit on
- Light a candle if you can
- A delightful comforting beverage - depending on the mood (mine is either a glass of wine or an iced matcha)
- Comfy clothes / clothes you don’t mind getting paint on
- If you are a sage crystal person (like I am) please feel free to set those up in a way that feels best for you

Brief bio:
Hello wonderful humans! My name is Amanda Lin. I am an educator, artist, designer, writer, meditator and overall multifaceted human being.
I have a Bacehlor of Arts in Theatre for Young Audiencess from San Diego State and a Master of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from the Academy of Arts in San Francisco.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area and I am currently living in San Francisco. I have been an educator for over 20 years and worked with students ages 2 - adult utilizing creative arts to connect on a basic human level.
Meditation and tuning inward is a practice that has saved my life during tumultuous grief, helped me navigate the unknown and separation of the pandemic and grounded me in the present moment in order to see the joy of simple sweet moments.
My Present Mission:
To provide a safe space for individuals to take a break, tune in, take a collective breath in orders to create from a soulful loving & healing space.
The Big Vision:
To be a spark in a world wide creative renaissance and raise the collective energy one mindful creation at a time.
